Now that we are in March and Spring has well and truly arrived, our plans for Porlock Gardens are also springing to life in a greater way.
We have many small and large projects on the go to either continue and finish from last year, or new ones to start up. And for this we need PEOPLE to help. Lots of people. The more, the merrier.
The projects are many and varied, so we need all kinds of skill sets available, not just for garden work. If you are local to South Tyneside and would like to get involved in our beautiful communal green space, please get in touch with us! The gardens are covering a large area, and many different activities and services. We are so grateful for all the help we can get, to get this lovely garden up and running to serve the community in the way we want to - as soon as possible!
Volunteer Tuesdays will start again soon - join us!
We are planning to start up last year's Volunteer Tuesdays again soon, so if Tuesdays are good for you, please get in touch!
But we do appreciate that everyone is busy, and at different times. So even if you are not available Tuesdays, please don't let that stop you from reaching out! We are happy to set up additional dates and times for people to come and volunteer their time and skills.
If possible, I would also like to get an overview over the volunteers we have available to help us, and potentially the different specialised skill sets (if any) you can offer, could you please all send me an email on porlockgardens@biltonhallct.onmicrosoft.com with your contact information if you would like to register your interest? Or even if you just have additional questions, please reach out!
